Come join our dynamic team! The City of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Parks and Open Space. The purpose of this position is to assist with managing small and large-scale park and open space improvement initiatives throughout various phases of a project life cycle, including but not limited to funding requests, design, and construction phases. Works with volunteers, community groups, and the general public as part of the City’s city-wide volunteer and community partnership programs, and all other related work as required and directed. This is a full-time, exempt position, hiring salary range: $81,645 – $87,913 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
