Position Summary

The Brand Manager will lead the strategy and execution of integrated marketing initiatives to elevate public awareness of GBFB’s mission and impact. The Manager will maintain the implementation of GBFB’s brand guidelines across mediums and departments and will oversee the organization’s print and digital presence in magazines, newspapers, web, email, and social media platforms as well as large-scale physical brand assets, such as billboards and vehicle wraps.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative marketer with strong project management skills, and a track record of growing brand visibility and engagement across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of External Affairs and Director of Communications to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Maintain, manage, and implement GBFB brand guidelines to ensure consistent tone of voice, messaging, and aesthetics across all marketing and promotional channels.
  • Manage and deploy non-fundraising awareness communications via social media and email, ensuring high deliverability and engagement.
  • In partnership with the Communications team, lead the creative strategy for all social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a robust social media content calendar that balances timely news with evergreen brand storytelling.
  • Manage routine website updates to ensure content is current, user-friendly, and SEO/GEO-optimized.
  • Lead the development and launch of an online brand store, including the selection, design, and inventory management of branded “swag.”
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing vendors, printers, and creative agencies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production of external branded collateral, including billboards, vehicle wraps, and signage, maintaining standards for  print quality, color accuracy, and visual impact.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage project timelines, and ensure all deliverables meet budgetary requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–6 years in brand management, marketing, or a similar creative role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with email marketing, CMS platforms (WordPress), and social media management tools.
  • Creative Eye: Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to provide clear creative direction. Graphic design and photography experience are a plus.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, from physical installations to digital campaigns.
