Come join our dynamic team! The City of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Senior Transportation Engineer. The Senior Transportation Engineer will assist the Director of Transportation Operations (Director) in all aspects of their duties in the City of Newton Department of Public Works (DPW), Transportation Division (Division). The Senior Transportation Engineer will work on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and customer-oriented manner and will refer to the Director for supervisory issues and approval of transportation engineering projects and plans. In addition, the Senior Transportation Engineer will represent the Division at meetings with City officials and the public as required. Performs other duties as requested. This is a full-time, exempt position, hiring salary range: $104,371 – $112,427 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
